At AIPU (Academic Institutions & Professional Network), we strive to ensure a smooth credential verification and membership processing experience. This policy outlines the terms under which applications can be cancelled and fees may be refunded.

1. Application Cancellation Window

Applicants can request a cancellation of their membership application under the following conditions:

• Cancellation Eligibility: Requests for cancellation must be submitted within 24 hours of application submission or payment, provided the document verification process has not commenced.
• Non-Cancellable Stage: Once your application moves to the document review or physical card printing stage, requests for cancellation will not be accepted.

2. Refund Eligibility & Rules

Processing and verification fees are allocated towards administrative checks, digital certificate generation, and logistics. Refunds are handled as follows:

• Application Rejected by AIPU: If an application is rejected during background verification due to administrative criteria (and not fraudulent submission), a partial refund will be processed after deducting a nominal 15% administrative processing fee.
• Duplicate Transactions: In case of accidental duplicate payments for the same application, 100% of the excess amount will be refunded upon verification.
• Non-Refundable Cases: Refunds will not be granted if the application is rejected due to fake/forged academic credentials, invalid identity proofs, or if physical smart cards have already been dispatched.

3. Refund Processing Timeline

Approved refund requests are processed systematically through payment channels:

• Once approved, refunds will be credited back to the original source of payment (Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI).
• The standard processing time for the amount to reflect in your bank account is 5 to 7 business days.

4. How to Initiate a Request

To request a cancellation or refund, please follow these steps:

• Send an email to support@aipuedu.in with the subject line "Refund Request - [Your Application ID]".
• Include your full name, registered mobile number, payment transaction ID, and a clear reason for cancellation.
